The INVISIONit Story

INVISIONit was born in response to a safety issue in which a farm employee was injured while loading a grain trailer. Good friends Steve Johnson, a farmer, and Clint Welch, a machinist and jack-of-all-trades, believed that by combining their skills and experience, they could keep others from this type of injury.

They created the Pendulum Camera to assist grain and bulk materials haulers and, in the process, decided to continue to work together to start a business that would be centered on the creation and development of devices that would make day-to-day operations safer, more productive, more efficient and more profitable for farmers and related industries. INVISIONit LLC is the result.

I was raised on a farm near Page, ND. I graduated from Page Public School and attended Concordia College in Moorhead MN, majoring in history and political science with a minor in business administration. I began farming with my dad and am proud to say that my son has joined our farming business and will be the 5th generation. I have farmed for 32 years and still enjoy the process. Agriculture has changed so much over the past 30 years and I embrace the changes.

In addition to farming, my wife and I have started other businesses related to agriculture. We have run a trucking business, a seed business, and an agricultural packaging plant. These experiences have taught me to think out of the box, bringing new agricultural products to market. This is why INVISIONit was started, to hammer out these ideas and make them a reality.

I was born, raised, and currently live on a small cattle ranch near Vanoss, OK – just west of Ada. My whole life has been spent fixing and building things. I’ve worked in oil fields, trucking, and cement manufacturing, and owned a CNC Machine shop. Most recently, I went back to my first love, the farming and agriculture business.

I have always gravitated toward machinery. Over the years, I have been fortunate to have acquired a pretty well-rounded knowledge of how things work and how to create them. This has given me the ability to see problems almost in a three-dimensional view. And when you combine what I know with what Steve knows, you end up with a pretty good problem-solving team!
